In this guide, you will learn how you are able to restore your Minecraft Server to a backup that is stored.
We know how important it is to have a restore point for your Minecraft Server so at Tigon Hosting we offer free backups that are taken every 24 hours. This means no matter what you always have a point you can restore to, weather your server has been grieved, you made a mistake with a plugin or you died in your hardcore world we can help!
Unfortunately at least for now restores for your server need to be requested via our friendly support team we hope in the future we can streamline this and have these available directly from our control panel.
We currently offer the below restore options:
Full Restore - This is when all your server files are deleted and the old files (from 24 hours ago) are restored to your server. This means Map, world, player data, everything in your server files directly.
World Restore - This restores your world and world player data, this will not touch your plugins, or any other folder. By standard we will only restore the main "world" directly please specify if the world is different to this or if you would also like the end/nether restored.
Send me the backup - We will send you the zip of your backup. It is then down to you what you do with the zip/files.
Step 1
Login to the Tigon Hosting Billing Portal
Step 2
Once logged in, go to the Get Help option.

Step 3
Scroll down and select Open a Ticket and then select Technical

Step 4
Open a ticket to the team with the subject being "Restore Server" along with your server IP and port you want to be restored like below. Please then also confirm in the ticket if you would like a "Full Restore" a "World Restore" or a "Send me the backup"

You MUST confirm in the ticket for a restore my server files or a restore my world that you understand this will delete your current data/world and the current data/world is none recoverable. If you do not confirm this you will be asked to confirm this as the first response before we can begin the restore.
Within 24 hours we will action the restore request, we will usually have a restore completed must faster but we do go on a 24 hour turnaround for these requests. If you need any more help please contact our friendly support team who are always happy to help
